For 2011, this best-selling brand from the largest Italian manufacturer sees the popular Carioca range joined by the re-launched Riviera to offer a wide spectrum of low-profile and overcab coachbuilt models. All are constructed using the Extreme Protection System which incorporates exterior GRP side walls and rears with Styrofoam insulation and laminated plastic framing to the perimeter of the walls. The end result is a construction that offers increased strength with less noise and chance of damage.
With three low-profile and six overcab models to choose from, the Carioca range appeals to families and couples alike. Further choice is offered by the availability of Ford Transit and Fiat Ducato chassis cabs, both of which are specially designed for motorhome use. Four of the models have fixed double beds with storage underneath – the 200 and 694 are longitudinal and the 100 and 600G have transverse beds with extensive under-storage. The 400, 656 and 707 have two bunks at the rear, the lower of which can be raised to provide extra storage with exterior access. Both the 500 and 706 offer family accommodation and, in line, with the rest of the range have at least four seat belts to ensure safe and comfortable travel. For your comfort, when arriving at your destination, every model has full kitchen facilities, most with full ovens, washrooms with separate showers and powerful heating and water heating systems.
Re-introduced to the UK for the 2011 season, the Riviera range of motorhomes offers luxury living from a choice of three low-profile and one overcab model. Externally, the streamlined low-profile options have an ‘Open Sky’ panoramic roof light in the front of the vehicle and the overcab model has a large bed with an opening window at either side. The internal furniture is finished in contrasting dark brown and light oak veneers and, combined with the sundust upholstery, the interior has a very contemporary ambience. Each model has a full kitchen including an oven and large fridge with separate freezer as well as luxury washrooms with step-in showers with rigid doors.
Both the 65 and 65P have fixed transverse beds at the rear above a large storage area which can be accessed from both inside and out. Further flexibility is available by choosing a rise and fall option to this bed should you want to sleep at a lower level. The 55P is the classic layout with a longitudinal fixed bed at the rear next to the fully fitted wash room. At the front, the swiveling cab seats combine with the dinette to give a spacious lounge which can also be converted to a double bed. For those needing single beds, the 85P is the perfect vehicle. With full width storage under the beds, shower separate from the toilet/washroom and a comfortable lounge, this model ensures that there is something for everyone in the Riviera range.
